THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICANS  AT THE SPACEPORT

WILL SOON BE TOLD

OUR STORIES

From the hiring of the first NASA/KSC Black Professional in 1963 until the present day, African Americans at the Spaceport have not been just ‘window dressing’ or ‘EEO numbers’ as some will allege. African Americans have been and continue to be contributing NASA Team members. It is our collective  responsibility to tell our own stories and to not let anyone distort, misrepresent or undermine our achievements at the Spaceport or anywhere else.
